Tour description

A rare pause in the very heart of Kalmar – this GO Nordic exclusive is warm, fragrant and deeply Swedish.

A 5-minute transfer from the pier and only 500 meters from the drawbridge of Kalmar Castle, this intimate two-hour experience invites guests behind the gates of historic Krusenstiernska Garden for a private culinary and cultural ritual.

Guests are welcomed into a charming heritage kitchen where they bake their own traditional Swedish pie using seasonal ingredients. As the aroma fills the house, a private guided walk through the preserved 18th–19th century wooden buildings and lush city garden reveals stories of Kalmar’s past — merchant life, craftsmanship, and everyday rhythms.

The experience concludes the Swedish way: a relaxed fika in the garden, enjoying the freshly baked pie together with coffee or tea.

Its compact format and central location make it ideal as a standalone Nordic Reset moment or seamlessly combined with a visit to Kalmar Castle or a curated walk through Old Town.
