Öland Scenic Bike Experience

Cycle through one of Sweden’s most distinctive island landscapes, where open horizons meet cultural depth and the Baltic Sea is never far away

  • May- Sep

  • 5,5 hours

Tour description

After a safety briefing and introduction, the route unfolds along quiet coastal roads and through agricultural landscapes shaped by centuries of farming traditions. The pace is steady and comfortable, designed for participation rather than performance, with curated stops for storytelling and perspective.

The ride continues towards Stora Frö and Vickleby, where Öland’s distinctive light, limestone soils and open fields define the character of the island. The highlight is an exclusive stop at Capellagården, the renowned arts and crafts school founded by Carl Malmsten. Here, guests step into an environment dedicated to craftsmanship, form and Nordic aesthetics. A Swedish fika is served in a calm garden setting, framed by workshops and design studios that continue to shape contemporary Scandinavian craft.

This is not a race across the island. It is a carefully structured cycling experience that balances movement, culture and conversation — ideal for guests who value activity with depth and place-specific identity.
