Karlskrona is a stunning place, with its city center built on an island in the archipelago. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve makes for a unique combination that will be sure to impress you. On this guided walking tour we give you an introduction to local and Swedish history with special attention to the way of life in Sweden. Are there really polar beers in the streets? What do Swedes eat? Why do they have to go to a special store to buy our alcohol? What does Swedish candy taste like, and what is “Swedish fika”? Join our local and experienced guide to know all about it!

- A slow-pace walking tour of the islands of Trossö, Stakholmen, Ekholmen, Saltö, Brändaholm och Dragsö, taking you past the most scenic places of Karlskrona.

- A visit to a local candy store with a “goodie-bag” of Swedish Candy
- Stop at the Swedish phenomenon “Systembolaget” – the stores owned by the government where Swedes have to go to buy their beer, wine & liquor.
