Introducing a new booking platform for Guided Tours and Activities in South Sweden
Introducing a new booking platform for Guided Tours and Activities in South Sweden
In 2025, it’s no longer acceptable that travelers searching for authentic tours and activities in south Sweden on global platforms like Viator and TripAdvisor find… nothing.
That was the reality one week ago. Now GO Nordic is proud to announce the launch of www.booksouthsweden.com – a new B2C booking platform built on Bokun.io, fully integrated with the world’s largest OTAs, including Viator and TripAdvisor. Our ambition is clear: to make the unique experiences of south Sweden visible, bookable, and accessible to international visitors.
To kick off the platform, we are launching two new tours under our own brand:
– “Life in Sweden Walking Tour” – A cultural walk for small groups (up to 15 guests), introducing visitors to everyday life in Sweden, including local customs like fika, Swedish candy culture, and a visit to the uniquely Swedish (Scandinavian) Systembolaget.
– “6 Islands in 3 Hours Walking Tour” – A scenic tour through Karlskrona’s UNESCO-listed World Heritage city and biosphere reserve. With curated photo stops and panoramic views, this experience combines history with breathtaking scenery.
GO Nordic is also acting as reseller for suppliers in the region. After only one week, two suppliers have signed up and more are on their way. Our vision is to grow BookSouthSweden into a hub for curated local experiences across the entire region. We’re now actively inviting local tour providers, guides, and product owners to join the platform. GO Nordic will act as reseller and marketing partner to bring these offers to a global audience via the most powerful international sales channels.
“There’s a significant void in the international visibility of south Sweden’s tourism experiences. We’re here to fill it – by bringing local knowledge and authentic products online, where international travelers are already searching.”
— Terje Viblom Pedersen, GO Nordic AB
